Photograph of Inside of the Gage House
This picture of the inside of the gage house shows the two suspended sediment
samplers and the electronic data logger. The suspended sediment samplers look
like small refrigerators and are insulated to protect collected samples from freezing.
The electronic data logger stores the data from the stream gage and continuous
water-quality monitor and transmits these data every four hours to the USGS Michigan
District data network.
