Volcano Connections

On Friday, February 7, 1997, a major Universal Studios movie called "Dante's Peak" opened at movie theaters around the country. Pierce Brosnan, a well-known actor, plays the part of a USGS volcanologist working in the Cascade Range. Several retired USGS volcanologists have provided scientific information for the production of the film.
