Suspended sediment samples were collected from the M-20 and White's Bridge. Here Russ Minnerick and Todd Dewitt of the USGS Michigan District Grayling Office collect a sample from the M-20 Bridge. The sampler is a USGS DH-59 that is approximately 15 inches long and weighs 22 pounds. A depth-integrated sample is collected in a pint size milk bottle. The sampler is suspended from a 3-wheel crane.
